2006 Note: This was my first foray into ranking albums of the year, so I'll blame lack of experience (and dial-up internet) on the limitation of 7 albums. However I don't regret any inclusions on here, though I question whether Mudvayne and Weezer would make it today. I was going to rework the list from today's perspective but its close enough without doing some major investigation into what albums actually stem from 2002.
